We investigated
the Spiro Flower shop due to claims of activity. These claims ranged from
smells and voices to an apparition of a woman that appeared upstairs. The
clients stated that the “activity” would increase if a painting of an unknown
woman that was kept in the attic was moved.
The flower shop is actually located in one of the older homes in Spiro. What
started as a beautiful home was then turned into a doctor’s office in the 60’s.
It is currently being used as a flower shop.
To begin our investigation, we set up our cameras in the area where the
apparition was reported. While up there, we also moved the painting in hopes of
increasing the activity in the building. After we had everything set up, we
turned off all lights in the building.
Our entire group started in the floral prep room on the first floor with special
attention being paid in the direction of the painting. While in this room
Daniel (Redd) heard sounds behind him in the direction of the kitchen area. He
immediately took pictures of that area and although nothing showed up in the
photographs we did get an EVP at that time! It sounds like its saying, “Get
out”. We didn’t hear this while investigating and if we had, we wouldn’t have
left the building regardless of the “request”. About this same time, I too
heard what sounded like shuffling behind me but was unable to back that up with
evidence to support my claim. After trying to engage the “spirit” that might be
attached to the painting without luck, we maintained our investigation protocols
and moved to another room to see what we could capture there.
Once we arrived in the next room, we continued with our EVP session. I knocked
on the wall to see if I could get a response. We didn’t hear anything knock
back, but our video camera on the 2nd floor did! We continued spending time in
each area downstairs before moving upstairs to start the second phase of our
investigation. We held EVP sessions in each room and upon review of these; we
did not receive any direct answers to our questions. When we finished with the
2nd floor, three of us moved to the attic and held an EVP session because this
is where the painting usually stays. While up there, I witnessed what looked
like a young girl crouching in the dark just behind and to the right of the
column that the painting usually leans against. After we finished with the
attic, we all met in the prep room to finish our investigation where we
started. Overall, the investigation seemed to be routine and for the most part
inactive, but it didn’t stay that way once we started reviewing our data!
We obtained five EVP’s on our recorders and several sounds on our video camera
upstairs. The EVP’s included two “Get out” demands which I don’t believe were
intended for the client. I believe they were for our team as we were the
intruders in the flower shop at that time. In all of my investigations up to
this point, I have never had my name called by a spirit. After this
investigation, I will no longer be able to say that! When upstairs in the
master bedroom, while we were getting into position I said, “That’s me making a
lot of racket”, someone is saying, “Adrian”. We listened to the audio data from
every recorder. None of our investigators said my name! This was also picked
up on a video camera that was set up nearby. The video also picked up several
knocks and some clicking sounds that definitely came from upstairs. Our entire
team was downstairs while this occurred! Our final EVP came from the prep room
of the floral shop and it sounds like someone laughing. Again, this is NOT one
of our team members and the laugh was not heard at the time of the
investigation.
No one can tell us the story behind the young woman in the picture even the owner of the building has no idea. The story goes that if you move the painting activity in the building will increase as if it bothers whatever entity is there.

While in the "prep" room Daniel was hearing sounds like something was behind him some took some pictures. There was nothing in the pictures but we did get this EVP at that time. I guess maybe we were intruders and whatever was there didn't appreciate us being there.
Same as above but short and cleaned
While upstairs after making some noise apparently an entity was calling me out. After listening to everyone recorder we know that none of the investigators said my name. This was also caught on our video camera.
The following is what sounds like a laugh and was caught on all recorders. It sounds the same on all of them and clearly wasn't one of us. This was not heard at the time of the investigation so therefore was not called out. Kind of funny, kind of strange.

This is a video compilation of noises that was picked up on the camera while we were downstairs. It sounds as if something was playing near and with the camera. You can plainly hear the difference between the sounds upstairs and the knock I did downstairs. Also the EVP saying Adrian was caught as well.
