Open Ghost Hunt at the Arkansas Tuberculosis Sanatorium

November 24th and December 8th 2007

We hosted an open ghost hunt at the Arkansas Tuberculosis Sanatorium where 100% of the  proceeds went to benefit the Booneville Human Development Center. This event was the first event we have ever hosted, and the end result was that just over $2000 was donated to this wonderful cause. We would like to thank those who attended this event.  Special thanks goes out to Keith Age who came here for the event on the 8th it was great to see him in action. Although it was a lot of work we had a lot of fun as well and in the end it all went a lot smoother than we had anticipated. We have been told that we will be able to do this again in 2008 and we hope that it will be just as successful as the first one was. We here at RVPRI hope to see you there!

Mid-South Paranormal Convention

September 21st - 23rd 2007

Hosted by Keith Age and the rest of the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society LGHS. We have to say this was great fun and we plan on going again. Keith Age was a great host and made you feel welcome. It was well organized and if there were any problems we didn't notice. While we were there we met with of course Keith (or is it Mr. Age?) Patrick Burns, Chris Fleming, John Zaffis, Just to name a few. We also met with Dave from Darkness Radio, and Tim Yancey from Encounters Paranormal Radio, and while talking with Doug from Ghostly Talk Radio he gave us the most distressing prophecy that "there will be no Arkansas next year". So 2008 should be interesting with this loss of an entire state. Doug, I told you I would put this on my website somewhere. We met so many people there I can't list them all but we loved meeting all of you. I can say that Arkansas was well represented there by three teams, RVPRI, CASPR, APRA, and made friends with them while there. In all our travels our main goal is to make friends along the way and in this I believe we are successful. Thank you LGHS for a great time.

Para-float

June 8th and 9th 2007

We attended the first annual Para-float hosted by OKPRI held at the Diamond Head resort in Tahlequah, OK. where we just had a lot of fun hanging out together partying and meeting new people. We met people from other teams as well as meeting with Keith Age, and Patrick Burns along with his family. All in all we had a great time even though we got a little toasted by the end of it. We also learned that Keith (or is it Mr. Age?) can steer a raft pretty good, even if he don't dress the part in jeans and a leather vest. The float was fun but what really made the event was just sitting around the campfire and talking with other groups, swapping stories and telling jokes. All I have to say is when it comes down to having fun, RVPRI is all about it. I think we as a group had the best time, I would almost bet on it.

Para-con

Our first conference.  We went to Para-con 2006 in Oklahoma City to listen to speakers and get to meet other paranormal groups. There we met members from other teams including Ghouli and OKPRI. It was informative and where we made a friends with Christy founder of OKPRI and she invited us to be her guests on a couple investigations. We learned a lot in the next couple months and it is all because we went to this conference.

On an investigation at the Arkansas TB sanatorium some could not resist the temptation to "boo" someone. This is the result with thanks to OKPRI who was filming the video. There is some language in this so be mindful of the ears around you. With my apologies to Redd, I could not resist putting this video on our site. And Anita, don't ever let your guard down, Redd's comin' for ya!
